Try the wines the two of us devote our lives to perfecting in our 1856 historic cottage, while looking over our 70 acre estate. Our wines encompass a rich, fruit driven style; a result of the regional characteristics and hard work including hand picking, hand plunging around the clock and basket pressing.

Visitors will taste a selection of our range, which may include our 'Hidden Valley' Eden Valley Riesling, 'Our Little Secret' Eden Valley Sauvignon Blanc, a range of our Rose and red wines including Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, and our Gold Leaf Reserve range.

Winery Tour & Barrel Tasting

Learn how Fernfield's boutique wines are made from start to finish on our estate; from hand picking to hand plunging in open top fermenters, basket pressing, barrel ageing and finally bottling.

You will visit our little winery one-on-one with the winemaker, try wine from its early stages through to finely aged wine ready for the bottle and chat with the winemaker about winemaking techniques and secrets.

Minimum two people, cost is per person, and can be paid on the day.

Play The Winemaker

Come and have a play in the little world of Fernfield Winery. You will taste a range of boutique wines from the barrel, while chatting about winemaking and blending principles with our winemaker. You'll trial a few different blends of wines from our barrels, with help from the winemaker to design your perfect blend. We will bottle and label your wine for you to take home and share. Minimum of two people, cost is per person, and can be paid on the day.
